History is repeating itself, this time on Israeli soil, and we sorely miss Claude Lanzmann's words, but his work is there, in UNESCO's Memory of the World. More than ever, make known Shoah, in particular the extracts selected by Claude Lanzmann and Jean-François Forges, to young people in middle and high schools to develop their humanity and their conscience, in the 195 countries of UNESCO. Only works of art can, like Shoah. We are beginning a long process of work.
In the immediate future, the important retrospective initiated by Arnaud Hée at the BPI in Beaubourg will absorb us over the next six weeks. Come to Beaubourg in large numbers, immerse yourself in Claude Lanzmann's work, so current; each Claude Lanzmann film will be shown three times, every evening, except Tuesday, and every Wednesday afternoon, Saturday afternoon and Sunday, and every Wednesday afternoon, Saturday afternoon and Sunday, starting from Saturday November 4, until December 18.
